ANNA EMELIANOVA soprano

Anna Emelyanova ( Opera singer, an artist)

Anna originally from Russia, was born in Moscow and started very early – at the age of six – to follow her musical way.

She went to a special primary school (Gnessins) for musical talented children as a pianist and also continued in a special music college where she passed the entrance examination for vocals. Besides the special musical education which Anna received in school, she also worked as a member of the children’s troupe of the famous Stanislavsky’s Opera Theatre and studied ballet dancing.

Anna gained her Bachelor Degree at the Russian Academy of Music (Gnessins) and achieved qualifications in the fields of Concert and Opera Performance, Chamber Ensemble Artist and Vocal teacher. The young singer performed several opera parts in Academy’s Opera Studio.

That time, besides classical music Anna was composing and worked as a singer for a Moscow state circus, worked at music studios as a guest artist and performed with different music bands.

She always knew her good abilities for opera singing and in 2012 Anna came to the Netherlands to continue her study with professor Axel Everaert at the Conservatory in Maastricht and in 2015 successfully finished a Master’s Programme in Solo and Opera singing with a Cum Laude degree.

During her study, Anna won a scholarship to participate in a high-level young artist’s program, the Mediterranean Opera Studio in Italy.

After her studies Anna was invited to Opera Zuid, and had experience to sing several roles as Clorinda in «La Cenerentola» by G.Rossini, Gilda in «Rigoletto» by G.Verdi, Musetta in «La Boheme» by G.Puccini, Susanna in «Le nozze di Figaro» by W.A.Mozart, Sophie in opera Werther by J.Massenet.

Currently Anna is working on new opera roles, also gives solo recitals with different programs, as well as performing on classical music festivals. Anna sings Oratoriums, she teaches singing and piano and still works as a guest artist in different projects.
